Returns

1. Ignazio Anastasi Ltd, hereinafter referred to as ‘The Company’ or ‘IAL’ as the case may be, is happy to credit/exchange any unused merchandise returned within 14 working days of purchase upon production of your invoice or receipt, as long as they are returned in an unused condition and in their original packaging. Returns of security locks, safes, and lock cylinders will not be accepted if the keys have been removed from their original, sealed packaging.

2. This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty. The product may be brought back to IAL and if, upon inspection, the item is deemed faulty, the product will be replaced or refunded if not in stock

3. We do not accept returns of discounted items or items purchased in connection with promotional offers.

Refunds

4. IAL will make all refunds to the card used for payment. Any amounts will be refunded within 7 to 10 working days.

Cancellations

Your right of cancellation

5. You can cancel your order at any time before the goods are delivered to you.

6. Following receipt of the goods, you may cancel your contract in respect of the goods up to 14 days from the day after the goods have been delivered by notifying us in writing. This means that if you change your mind about the goods, or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep the goods, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract, and then return the goods to us for a refund. If your order comprises more than one item you can cancel and return any of the items individually or in combination.

7. IAL reserves the right to refuse the cancellation in the event that the goods have been damaged after delivery, or not in their original packaging. Items cannot be returned if these are unsealed items which are deemed not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons. Security locks, safes, and lock cylinders will not be accepted if the keys have been removed from their original, sealed packaging.

8. If you cancel the agreement:

  • You must return the goods to us;
  • The goods must be returned to us in an unused condition and original packaging;
  • The goods must be returned to us in an unused condition and original packaging;
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, including delivery;
  • It is your duty to take reasonable care of the goods (including reusable packaging, manuals etc) until they are returned to us;
  • It is your duty to take reasonable care to see that they are received by us and not damaged in transit;

     Once the above have been satisfied:

  • IAL will reimburse any sum paid by you in relation to this transaction.
  • If you fail to return the goods to us after cancellation, IAL shall recover the goods and shall charge you for all costs, whether direct or indirect, including but not limited to transportation costs, which IAL may incur.

Our right of cancellation

9. If for reasons beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to, pricing errors, or The Company are unable to supply the goods to you, The Company may cancel the agreement at any time before the goods are delivered by giving notice to you. The Company shall promptly repay to you any sums paid by you in relation the agreement. The Company shall not be held liable or responsible in any way for any loss or damage of whatever nature arising pursuant to such cancellation.

10. Deliveries

  • Unless otherwise stated, the price of the goods does not include delivery by us to you and shall be charged separately.
  • The costs of delivery shall be due on the date for payment of the goods.
  • The goods shall be delivered by us to your address and the risk in the goods shall pass to you once delivery is complete.
  • It is your duty to inspect the goods upon receipt and report any loss or damage to the carrier immediately. If for any reason you refuse to check goods upon delivery, you hereby agree to assume full responsibility for any shortages, scratches, breakages, dents and/or other damages.
  • In respect of any damage to goods reported to us after 48 hours of delivery The Company shall require proof from you that the goods were damaged before being delivered to and received by you.
  • Deliveries are made to Malta and Gozo.
  • Deliveries are made to ground floor only, therefore you must ensure that you make the necessary arrangements for the goods to be delivered to other floors, exclusively at your expense.
  • Deliveries are made Monday-Friday between 7.30am and 3.30pm.
  • Deliveries are carried out within 2-5 working days (subject to availability & barring circumstances beyond our control). If we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to deliver them within 30 days starting on the day after the day of the agreement between us.

Variations in description or specification

11. Images shown are for reference purposes only. Actual item may look or differ in appearance, shape, size, quality.

12. Manufacturers may alter features & specifications of a product. We will notify you should we become aware of any change in specifications. If you notice a change in specifications which is not satisfactory to you, you are entitled to cancel the agreement and a refund of the purchase price within the 14-day cooling off period.

13. Items that are not returned in pristine condition and with full original undamaged packaging may be subject to a reduced refund in accordance with these terms and conditions.

No set off

14. You may not withhold payment of any invoice or other amount due to us by reason of any right of set off or counterclaim which you may have or allegedly have or for any other reason whatsoever.

Privacy

15. We respect your privacy. All personal information you provide us is kept confidential. We do not rent, trade, or sell your personal information.

16. The company shall process your information for purposes emanating from and pursuant to this Agreement. Such information will be kept for a period of 36 months.

17. All credit card information is processed by a reliable third party. Therefore, The Company does not store any credit card information.

Choice of law and jurisdiction

18. This contract is subject to the law of the Republic of Malta.

19. All disputes arising out of this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Malta.

20. If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful, it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions.
